I used to intern at this record company in soho on spring street called CRI, they released all kinds of weird 20th century composers work, lou harrison, the Bang on a Can series, and Loren Mazzacane Connors. I recently saw that they have since been folded into a larger label. It was really just me and 3 other really nice people. I got such a music education there and didn't even realize. I ended up getting Loren Connors 7 inches whenever I saw them at this record store near my apt, in the east village, adult crash. Here's another one by Mr. Connors, but I'm sure they dont have many left.
