New bored fortress club - Year 3
I missed out on Year two of the bored fortress seven inch subscription club, but year one was pretty amazing....silevr daggers, robedoor, yellow swans, racoo-oo-oon, just amazing split after amazing split with informative inserts written by NNF, it was an education in noise. I somehow missed out on year 2 but tried to pick them up when I saw them listed individually at ss records.
This years is almost ready and I'll keep checking and announce it here as soon as I hear about it.
Thurston played the knitting factory last night and he made an acoustic guitar sound huge and would hold it against the amp and behind his head feedbacking everywhere. He's nearly 50 and I think even in high school I knew that they had been around forever and weren't something you should mess with unless you are prepared to take seriously. Hopefully he will have 50 more.
This email was sent Saturday from Not Not Fun:
