I remember my brother telling me about a show he saw where Man or Astroman incorporated some kind of dot matrix printer into their performance? That was enough for me. I think I associate them with Grandaddy and their kind of weirdo junk folk surf, anything goes. I probably was aware of how many singles these guys had out before I ever actually put one on the turntable. An unmistakable aesthetic... the 50's pop graphic and lots of cool complex packaging, so if anyone was going to put together a freaking cool sleeve it would be Chunklet.

I can't afford this. So I am buying it anyway. I saw these guys at the Bug Jar in Rochester in 96 or 97. Eric is right...they did have a dot matrix printer set up. Also Harvey loves these guys. I have one of their EP's on CD and he just plays it over and over...I am so sick of it.
