City / City (The teenagers mix)I don't know why but there is something about lo fi-fnk I really like. They have that house/dance party thing going on, like an LCD soundsystem, or the knife. They use really ridiculous sounds pretty well.
The other 7" I remember from them just mixed really high produced cowbells and synth handclaps with dirtier elements, cheap sounding, but really fun and frantic. Change channel is a great example of their super catchy songwriting abilities. I think there is something pretty nice about it.
They may be a little inconsistent based on the other myspace stuff, but it's just a single.
It's not going to make you angry anyway.
