Just found out this Starving Weirdos 7" back in stock/re-released and available through aquarius and always heard about these guys in the experimental/sound vein of things.OuterSpaceGamelan reviewed a double CD a while back and I put two and two together finally.
I think it's like one of those things that you need some serious patience for and maybe even more leeway. I've read great things about them, and then just ok, but you know a couple bucks for a single from aquarius might just be the way to find out if it's something you'll be into.
I don't know No Neck blues band either that they keep being compared to, but a lot of the things from their Eastern Light double CD sounded like a long random jam with instruments thrown in here and there. I think a single is the perfect entry point to this ensemble psyche soundwork.
Starving Weirdos: First 7" from these awesome noisemakers, old 4-track stuff available for the first time, looped and trippy and awesome!
