Bored Fortress Not Not Fun from Fusetron
In case you missed the sold out latest NNF Bored Fortress singles club, here's three offerings available from good ol fusetron....
What I've gathered....
Shepherds: Meneguar alterego (?) side project, have to get that new LP, heard nothing but great things.
Ignatz: Blues/folk from the future, a million effects on fingerpicking shuffling far away sadness.
Skullflower: Heavy, guitar drums drone from one the pioneers of the genre.
Axolotl: One man noise project of drone-psyche.
Last but not least is Slither and Thurston Moore and company doing what they do best....Slither I think is more electronic-y (no myspace) and Thurston and Paul have a full length live release out together of free jazz. All good stuff, another impressive year. If there would be the thing to have to keep up with the latest in nu noise it's this 3 year and running collection.... a who's who directory of sound/experimental/noise artists for the next century. Put it in the voyager, send it out into space.
