Fucking Werewolf Asso on Alleycat records

Alleycat records is a label out of Sweden who sent me this single from Fucking Werewolf Asso, not sure if that stands for association or is short for asshole...these guys are from that part of the world and sound like they're putting heavy synth electronics and hardcore metal together in a mangled punk way.

A-Sides's "Eva Spence" left me with a hard time figuring out if I'm playing it at the right speed, lots of that metal style big low bass combined with heavy synth, sounding completely bizarre, hard to know what to make of this, but I think I found the right speed. Synth is up front and taking over under this booming crashy cymbal beat. The graphic on the cover of a cartoon laid back on the stage, blood splashing out of this face is pretty much exactly what's happening. I don't know what era it even is anymore.
Insane fast beat and yelling, it's taken me off guard. This is some kind of manipulated beat and raving like a lunatic. Massively processed like a million robots playing loud atari's from hell. Almost hip hop frantic, I can't imagine what the references are here. Fast hyper synth lines and big chorus vocals, the most electronic emo you can get, they've reached some bizarre endgame. You win.

"Helen Tiger" funk synth pokes in and I have to check the speed again. Fuck Yourself Fuck Yourself! is really odd against this synth bubbling bleeps. Angsty and dark but it's a fucking party. THey're doing that fast verse to slow headbanging big anthemic chorus. Warped tour, slap bass outro. There's so much effort put into this insane sound. Helen Tiger has nothing to do with the lyrics. They seem to ba naming lady vocalists they're into. They have a big problem with a lot of things. How this incorporates synth is completely insane.

B-Side, "Yasuko Onuki" features that synth to drive this forward, spaz beat, thats how they can fit 4 tracks on this single, going punk in a japandroids vocals way. Singing from the crowd, to the crowd. The keys are maddeningly mixed loud, it's a kind of future punk, maybe in a sort of You Say Party We Say Die sound?. Anthem every song. Sounding like that early 2000's mix of metal and emo. The screaming is at least somewhat pushed to the back this time. Shut up! Nevermind. They're still angry. Glitching like crazy. They grew up playing Battles and Mars Volta at 78rpm.

"Jemina Pearl" What???!!! Slow creeping organ? A big chorus of singers slowly whoa-ing. Does steampunk have something to do with this? A Dresden Dolls gypsy steam punk? Of course it picks up and gets back to that big unitelligibale sound. Yea yeah! If you want to sing along, this is for you. nNever stop moving for fear of sinking. A nice shoutout to those ladies but not sure what it has to do with this single exactly.

Slick, coated full color sleeve and clear vinyl, crazy block letters I couldn't exactly decode into this equally insane band name.
You can get this direct from Alleycat or US Distro Interpunk.

Check out the tracks from this one... should do the trick:
